VIVA PERU!!

Went on this trip with my highschool friend Craig Bartels (who also went to Europe with me) and a college friend Marty Verbic.
As usual, it was a blast... partying, climbing mountains, oh my...

Flying into Peru, back of the plane was stinky! On the way to Machu PIchu took 40 hours.

The (smelly) flight in on American Airlines (blah!)

After 4 hours in Lima Airport
The great view to Cuzco was welcomed.

Relaxing in the center of Cuzco

Marty got altitude sickness...
so we had to drink the Coca tea....mmmm

A picture of me and 2 Peruvian women.
And their Llamas

The small strees that line Cuzco

Head out from Cuzco, took a taxi, then train (planes, trains and automobiles?) to small town outside of Macchu Pichu

We took a over-night (very uncomfortable bus down to Puno to see Lake Titicaca.
Not really wanting to stay in the (very high atmosphere and cold) town of Puno that night,
we decided to hop a plane (through Lima agian!) to the nothern costal town of Trujillo.
We stayed in a small village north of Trujillo... and saw the adobe cities.
Then head back to Lima for a couple days..

The beautiful Lago Titicaca
Outside city of Puno

The 'floating islands' of Lake Titicaca, Peru

Rowing a local's boat on the Lake

Marty burning in the sun of Lago Titicaca.

Craig ontop a mud temple!

The costal town during the day

Some guys out surfing the last waves of the daytime.

Sunset over Trujillo. So very calming..

The Largest Adobe city in the world..

The Catholic church
One of the many sites we saw that day

The catacombs under the church
Very creepy but cool!

We got to see a protest
outside the capital too!
That's all folks!!! What a great trip!!!
